Who Can Apply

  • Rural households with kutcha/dilapidated house (SECC 2011 list)
  • SC/ST households in rural areas
  • Widows of ex-servicemen
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Families of bonded labourers

Who Cannot Apply

  • Urban residents (see PMAY-Urban)
  • Households already owning pucca house
  • Government employees
  • Income tax payers
  • Households with income above ₹3 lakh

  • ₹1.30 lakh in hilly/NE states
  • Convergence with Swachh Bharat for toilet
  • 90-95 days MGNREGS wages for construction

  • Aadhaar Card (all adult members)
  • SECC 2011 inclusion proof / BPL certificate
  • Job card (MGNREGS)
  • Bank passbook
  • Caste certificate (for SC/ST)
  • Land ownership document

How to Apply

Online

  1. Visit pmayg.nic.in
  2. Check if your name is on the Awaas+ waitlist
  3. Contact Block Development Officer if eligible but not listed

Offline / CSC

  1. Visit your Gram Panchayat
  2. Name should be on the SECC 2011 permanent waitlist
  3. If selected, you receive a sanction letter from district office
  4. Open dedicated savings account for DBT
  5. Funds are released in installments as construction progresses
