Eligibility

Who Can Apply

  • Persons aged 60+ from BPL households (IGNOAPS)
  • Widows aged 40-79 from BPL households (IGNWPS)
  • Persons with 80%+ disability from BPL households (IGNDPS)
  • Families of deceased BPL workers (NFBS(one-time ₹20,000))

Who Cannot Apply

  • Persons already receiving pension from central/state government
  • Non-BPL households
  • Persons below 60 (for old-age component)

How to Apply

Online

  1. Visit nsap.nic.in to track status after application
  2. Some states have online application portals. Check your state social welfare department website

Offline / CSC

  1. Visit Gram Panchayat (rural) or Urban Local Body office
  2. Collect and fill NSAP application form
  3. Attach required documents
  4. Submit to Gram Panchayat/Block Development Officer
  5. District Social Welfare Officer will verify and approve
