Who Can Apply

  • All children aged 6–14 are entitled to free education under RTE as a right
  • Girls and SC/ST students for residential school and hostel facilities
  • Out-of-school children for special training and mainstreaming support
  • Children with Special Needs (CWSN) for stipend and inclusive education support

No. Samagra Shiksha is a systemic school improvement programme. It funds school infrastructure, teacher training, free textbooks, uniforms, and inclusion programmes rather than direct cash scholarships.
Samagra Shiksha subsumed SSA (elementary), RMSA (secondary), and Teacher Education (TE) into a single integrated scheme in 2018.
Textbooks are provided through the school at the start of the academic year for students in government schools. Contact the school principal if your child has not received them.
CWSN girls receive a stipend of ₹200/month. All CWSN students are entitled to inclusive education support, assistive devices, and special educator services through the school.
Yes. Samagra Shiksha covers pre-school to Class 12, including upper primary (Class 6–8) and secondary and senior secondary (Class 9–12).
