- Adult women (18+) from BPL households
- Women listed in SECC 2011 database
- SC/ST households
- PMAY-G beneficiaries
- Antyodaya Anna Yojana card holders
- Persons in Most Backward Classes
Who Cannot Apply
- Households that already have an LPG connection
- Households not meeting BPL criteria
- Male applicants (the connection must be registered in a woman's name)

Documents Required
- Aadhaar Card
- BPL ration card or SECC document
- Bank account details (for EMI deduction if applicable)
- Passport size photo
- Self-declaration of no LPG connection in household
How to Apply
Online
- Visit pmuy.gov.in
- Click 'Apply for PMUY Connection'
- Fill the online form with personal and bank details
- Submit. A distributor will contact you shortly
Offline / CSC
- Visit your nearest LPG distributor (HP Gas, Bharat Gas, or Indane)
- Fill KYC Form 1 (personal details) and KYC Form 2 (bank details)
- Submit with Aadhaar card and BPL proof
- LPG connection will be provided at no cost

No. Each household is entitled to only one LPG connection under the scheme.
Yes, under Ujjwala 2.0, both the first refill and stove are provided free.
Subsequent refills are at market price. However, you may be eligible for LPG subsidy under PAHAL scheme.
