Who Can Apply
- Landowner farmers with cultivable agricultural land
- Aadhaar-linked bank account mandatory
- Valid for all states including J&K and NE states
- Small and marginal farmers (up to 2 hectares)
Who Cannot Apply
- Serving or retired government employees
- Income tax payees
- Retired pensioners receiving above ₹10,000/month
- Institutional landholders (trusts, companies)
- Former/current MPs, MLAs, or Ministers

- ₹6,000 per year
- Payable in three equal installments of ₹2,000

How to Apply
Online
- Visit pmkisan.gov.in
- Click 'New Farmer Registration'
- Enter Aadhaar number and select State
- Fill in land and bank account details
- Submit. Registration is free
Offline / CSC
- Visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC)
- Carry original documents (Aadhaar, land records, passbook)
- Operator will fill and submit the form on your behalf
- Registration is completely free of cost
